ASOS Shoe Haul

Hey everyone,

So at the beginning of the week, I ordered a new pair of shoes from ASOS and I thought that I'd share with you what I got. Some of you might like them and some of you might hate them but I absolutely love them! I've wanted a pair of flatforms for a long time now and I recently saw someone wearing them so I went ahead and brought them.

I ordered the 'ASOS Dino Flatform Trainers' which were £20.00 and I got them in a size 4. They are very easy to walk in although they were a bit big on me they rubbed the back of my foot and gave me blisters but this is on because I wore very thin socks.

I would definitely recommend you getting these shoes if you like them but I suggest if they are a bit big on you then you should wear thicker socks and bring plasters just in case.

Hope that you enjoyed my little shoe haul... tweet me or comment if you'd like more of these haul-type posts and check out my new facebook page below ;)

August Favourites

Hey everyone,

I'm so sorry for the lack of posts but I've been so busy with everything lately and I just haven't had the time to post a lot. So today, I thought that i'd share with you my August Monthly Favorites. I did one of these last month for my July favorites and I enjoyed sharing with you what I have been loving so I thought i'd show you again. So lets get into it...

So the first favourite is this 'Clean & Clear morning energy daily facial wash'. Throughout August and now in September, I've been trying to get back into a routine of cleaning my face everyday so that my face doesn't get clogged up with makeup or other products. So I brought this...I try to use it once or twice a day and this seems to really help get rid of some of my little (but annoying spots). On top of the fact that this face wash looks cool... it smells delicious!

This next product, I have been wearing NON STOP. It is the 'Maybelline Color Tattoo in 65 - Pink Gold' I have been liking wearing simplistic eye makeup... just an eye shadow and some eyeliner and mascara and this is the eye shadow I have been wearing. The consistency is very nice, it is smooth to apply and blends out well. I love it and definitely recommend you get the color tattoos!

I have just shown you a type of cleansing/face washing product but I have been using this a lot too. It's the 'Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish'. I haven't really been using it as an all over face cleanser I have mainly just been using it to remove my eye makeup because I have been wearing eyeliner everyday. However, I do like to use it all over my face as well and it leaves me feeling very refreshed!

I recently brought this whilst I was out shopping and I'm so glad that I brought it! I never really wore concealer before getting this and now I know what I've been missing out on. This 'Maybelline The Eraser Eye' concealer is so good at covering up any blemishes and under eye circles. It really helps to open up my eyes and makes me look more awake.

Now that the weather is changing and it's getting colder, I have noticed that my skin sometimes becomes a bit dry. This 'Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter' is a life saver. It smells delicious, soaks into the skin well and doesn't have any shimmer which is great to have if you don't want glittery legs.

I have recently been enjoying contouring... I watched a tutorial on YouTube on how to contour and ever since then I don't go a day without it. I have a few other bronzers that I like to use for contouring etc but this is my favorite. It is the 'Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light'. I use both the bronzer and highlighter everyday and they work very well and are very pigmented.

This final product really makes me excited because it is the first ever mac product I have owned and the first ever lipstick! It is a 'Mac sheen Supreme Lipstick in Royal Azalea'. I love this colour, I wanted to go for a lilac colour so I went for this pinky lilac colour which is so pretty and is more of a toned down/natural light pink which I love because I didn't want a really bright pink.

Thank you for reading this... hope you enjoyed, follow my blog on gfc and bloglovin to get notified for more posts and check out my links below.

Mint + Rose Gold Dream Outfit #1

Hey everyone,

So before I started blogging I had been using a website called 'Polyvore'. Polyvore is a website which allows you to create outfit collages and post them and people can like them and follow you, tell how much each item costs and buy them. I love coming up with little outfit ideas to wear so I thought that I'd start sharing my ideas on my blog.

My Polyvore: click here

So today I thought I'd start it off by showing you a mint + rose gold outfit idea because both of these colours are fairly popular at the moment and I really love them...

This is the outfit which I designed, I wanted the colour scheme to be mints, white and rose gold, because I wanted to have rose gold in the colour scheme, I chose all rose gold Jewelry.

Below are the items in the outfit I created above...
Crop top:

I chose a simple crop top so that the jewelry could make the look complete. This top is also very affordable and can go with anything you already own.
Jeans:

- Wonder Skinny Jeans (Turquoise)

Because one of the main colours in my colour scheme is a mint/turquoise colour I  paired the plain top with these bold coloured skinny jeans above.

Shoes:

For the shoes, I thought I would pair converse for a more casual look rather than heels etc. I love all of the converse shoes and I think these pair of white ones would go with anything. I found these ones for £32 from karmaloop.com but I'm sure you could get them from other places cheaper or you could just wear plain white plimsolls.

Bag:

I thought that I would start to add in some gold detailing so this bag is perfect. I love the mint colour and the little gold studs. However, I'm not too sure whether you can get this anywhere else apart from America :( You might be able to find a bag similar somewhere else though.

Nails:

For nails, I chose this mint colour from this Dior due because I thought its a very nice mint colour and if you wanted to have something different then you could use the darker shade on your ring fingers etc. But... if you wanted something a bit cheaper I'm sure there are plenty of different light blue nail polishes out there that would be just as nice.

Some cheaper mint/light blue alternatives:
  • Essie - Mint Candy Apple (see what it looks like click here
  • Revlon - Blue Lagoon (£6.49 from boots click here)
  • Sinful Colours - Cinderella
  • Revlon - Minted (£6.49 from boots click here)
Jewelry:

When I designing this look I added all rose gold jewelry and this is the much cheaper alternative to the one which I am going to show next which is far too expensive for me to buy.  This bracelet is really cute, affordable and stretches to any size wrist.

***I would never buy a bracelet like this below that costs this much but it was so pretty so I thought that I would include it anyway***

As I said before, I wouldn't buy this but some people might like to own designer stuff but this bracelet is really cute!

Finally...

Earrings:

These earrings are very cute and simplistic, they are a bit pricey but I'm sure there are many other alternatives out there :)

Thank you for reading this! :D be sure to follow me in the future for more blog posts!
