10 Holiday Buys for £10 and under ☀️

Hey everyone,

I'm back again with another new blog post....today I thought I'd share with you some items I've found online that are great for taking on holiday at £10 or under! If you're going on holiday or just staying in your hometown, these items can be merged into everyday outfits with ease. I thought I'd do some searching around and find these more budget-friendly items for the summer and to bring with you if you're going on holiday.

(1)Sunglasses to me are essential..and these ones below are very chic and stylish for only £9.99 and on there website they have tons more with different styles to suit you better. 

(2)So this one may not be an essential but it is very cute and very cheap..for £3.99 you can spruce up any set of keys and give them a fun, summery feel.

(3)I've seen people layering these mesh crop tops everywhere..why not snap one yourself before they all go out of stock...

(4)Mint is definitely becoming my new favourite colour...for £8.00 this Faux suede cap is so cute I might not be able to resist.

(5)Bodysuits are such a trend at the moment...especially those featuring lacing/lattice string detailing, H&M are selling lots of them at the moment in different colours and styles..great for pairing with some comfy shorts or a slimline skirt.

(6)Playsuits are such an easy item of clothing to throw over a bikini or swimming costume..and these come in many different patterns on H&M for £7.99.

(7)Flip flops are also an essential for summer holidays and going on the beach...and these cute jungle patterned ones are only £8.00 at Accessorize!

(8)Why not jazz up your travelling experience with a pretty blue passport holder...make travel more fun :)

(9)Skirts are such an easy thing to style on holiday as they near enough go with everything..and choosing them in block colours makes pairing a lot easier! This wrap skirt is only £7.99 and would be perfect for throwing over a bikini or bodysuit.

(10)Finally..number 10...culottes are such a staple piece recently...I mainly see people styling black culottes but why not step out of your comfort zone and get some patterned ones to make your holiday outfits much more stylish.

Back from little break ♥ Pastel Trends

Hey everyone, 

Sorry for the very long break I've kind of enjoyed having some free time and I had to revise for science exams :( Hopefully I'll be getting back into the swing of things and be posting more frequently now x I've kind of hit a wall trying to think of ideas for blog posts and needed some inspiration so please let me know how you get your inspiration and if there are any new tags going around that would be fun to do... anyway lets get into the main chunk of this blog post...

So today's post as you can see from above and in the title is about 'PASTEL TRENDS'... so you've all probably already heard or seen lots of pastel clothing around and about but I though that I'd do a bit of researching about to find some pastel clothing that I think is good value for money or very pretty!

One of the main shops that I like to look in for good value for money is 'New Look'... they sell a lot of up to date clothes for cheaper prices than more pricier shops such as 'Topshop' (although if you were willing to pay a bit more they do sell some gorgeous play suits and dresses that I would love to get my hands on :D). Anyway, I'm getting a bit distracted hehe... one of the first items from New Look that I spotted was this Short Sleeve Blue Cropped Jumper:

I thought this jumper would be a great piece that could go with anything from high waisted jeans and skirts to a more formal short skirt as demonstrated on the model in the picture to the left.

This next item from New Look is also in the sale and may not be quite in the pastel trend but I though I'd include it anyway and it is something that would work with the jumper above if you wanted to dress up a bit.. this a-line mini skirt:

I would pair this skirt with something plain on top like the jumper above or the vest to the right... also, I would try to match what ever I was wearing on top to one of the colours in the skirt e.g. peach or lilac... I would also do the same with my lipstick.

This last item from New Look is also in the sale and its a basic white jumper that has a bit of detailing on so you feel although you're putting in some effort hehe and its very girly.. its this white 1/2 sleeve jumper with floral embroidery:  

I feel like the cut of this jumper is a very love/hate cut... some people might love it but some people might hate it. I personally love it especially when its tucked in as shown on the model in the left picture. 

I would pair this with something high waisted... e.g. a skirt, jeans, shorts

Whilst browsing online I also found some great shops for dainty jewellery to pair with pastel items and one of the main shops was 'Pastelclouds'.... I've never heard of this shop before but they seem very affordable and sell some really cute stuff like these below:

April Lipstick Wishlist ♥

Hey everyone, 

So today I thought I'd share with you some of the lipsticks I've been dying to get my hands on! Some I've found on other blogs and through twitter... I hope you enjoy this post and leave me a comment below telling me which one was your favourite and some suggestions of new blog posts I could do because I've been really stuck with ideas...

They retail at £10.00 and I have to say that by the swatches they definately look like they are worth the money and I'd love to get my hands on them... especially the middle shade!

This next one is a bit of a different...out there colour but I saw it in Shaaanxo's new limecrime swatch youtube video and love it to death!

I absolutely love all of the colours in the video but I'm not sure I'd wear all of them but thhis colour happened to be my favourite which retails at $18.00 on the official limecrime website but I'm pretty sure its cheaper else wear :)

Another lipstick I'd love to own is also by limecrime and its in the colour 'Styletto' which is completely sold out on the limecrime website :(((  ($18.00)

It's a bit of a love or hate lipstick but I absolutely love it... you're probably thinking... why not get a black eyeliner and use that and not waste your money... the limecrime lipsticks are very well known to be moisturising and worth the money whereas a black eyeliner would be very drying :)

The final lipstick I'd like to mention is the Topshop lipstick in 'Ohh la la' .... its a gorgeous peachy orangey colour and looks very pigmented: Price is £8.00

Fashion and beauty haul...

Hey everyone, 

So I've totally forgot to do this post... I was meaning to do this a few weeks ago when I originally brought everything :( but its better late than never!

So during half term which was a little while back now, I seemed to have accumulated quite a lot of clothes, jewelry etc. I thought I'd show you what I got because I love looking at other blogs and youtubers to see what they get too.

Lets delve into it... 

My dress

This first item of clothing above was from bank fashion and is such a simple piece that you can basically pair with anything! It's a grainy grey colour that is so soft to touch and very comfy to wear. Its an oversized dress that is perfect to wear slouching around or just add some rings and a necklace and you're ready to go out and about. p.s. it was £23.00

This next item of clothing I got was such a bargain...only £15.00!!! It was from H&M and I love it!!! It has a lovely almost quilted texture on it and although it might not like it in my pictures... its also very fitting.

Then I also brought a pair of plain black skinny jeans from H&M which were only £7 or £8!

Then I brought these shoese above for yet again a bargain of only £7! They are so cute on and remind me of old fashioned school shoes :) They're also really to pair with an outfit to make it dressy.

Then I brought this floppy hat above for around £13-£15 which I intend to wear in the summer or when the weather gets nicer which... fingers crossed will happen.

Then I just got some basic knitted tights in this burgundy/purple colour that I can wear with just about anything to keep me warm and cosy.

These final items are the jewellery and some beauty bits I brought:

The first jewellery piece I got was this link bracelet from accessorize for £5... I love the coloured strap of this bracelet which is what drew my eyes to it in the shop and also, the colour of the links is almost edging onto a rose gold colour and I love rose gold anything!

Then I brought some midi rings...

The one of the left is a tiny little diamante bow that gives a little girly accent to your look and to the left is something a bit more edgy. They are both gold and the ring on the left is almost like two rings stacked but joint together with a little bar in the middle. I love to stack up my rings to add a bit of glam to a casual outfit and also... river island sell midi rings for only like 2 or 3 pounds!

And finally... I brought some new mascaras to try out and I am very impressed with both and currently use the collection volumizing mascara on the left in the coral packaging because it doesn't transfer throughout the day at school or in the weekends because its waterproof.

Favourite Perfume of the week #2 - Sugarbabes Touch

Hey everyone,

So I've been really busy recently so I haven't really had the time to sit down and write a blog post for you all to read but instead of giving you nothing, I thought that I'd do a short post telling you what my favourite perfume this week has been. 

So let's get into it....

So this week I've been really enjoying a fruity and light perfume which is the 'Sugarbabes'. This perfume is very sweet which I love. I also have another Sugarbabes perfume in a pink bottle called 'Touch'. 

I looked up the notes online so if any of you are interested about what notes are in it then here they are:

• Rose
• Violet
• Cranberry
• Lychee
• Musk
• Patchouli

Unlike my previous favourite perfume of the week which you can read here, this bottle's packaging is much less detailed and more simple. I think that the Anna Sui perfume was a slightly more pricey perfume whereas this one isn't but I like to use them both a lot. The packaging is just a simple round silver bottle with a sphere lid with the brand printed onto it in black. Like I said before this perfume isn't that expensive but I believe the smell is very good and the amount you get is such good value.

The perfume bottle size that I have is the 100ml but I have used so much of the perfume that I will be needing a new one soon!.... That is if they still sell this because I have a funny feeling that it might be limited edition or discontinued. 

One small bad point about this perfume however is that it doesn't last very long throughout the day. I think that because it is a lighter perfume it doesn't last longer then something with stronger notes. But in the future I would like to get a small perfume bottle so that I can transfer small amounts of perfume in it to carry around with me so that I can spray every now and then so that it lasts for longer.

However, if you are looking to get something fruity and light and don't want to spend too much then this perfume is great and I would definitely recommend it!

I ♥ Drugstore Makeup Tag

Hey everyone,

So I saw Gabriella (velvetgh0st on youtube) do this tag recently :

So I thought that I'd have a go at answering the questions. I'm not sure if there are any other versions of this tag or if there are different questions but these are the ones which she had answered in her video.
So lets get into it.....

Question 1.

What is your favourite drugstore make-up brand overall?

There are a few drugstore make-up brands that I like to buy from and I used to get a lot from Revlon especially there Lip butters but lately,  I tend to buy from Rimmel and Maybelline. So I'd have to say that overall, my favourite drugstore make-up brand is Maybelline. Their colour tattoos are beautiful and I love the baby lips.

Question 2.

What are your favourite face/cheek/ lip products?

I have to say that one of my favourite face products has to be the Maybelline Anti-Age The Eraser Eye concealer, which I mentioned in my August Favourites a few months ago. Read here. I use this product everyday and it gives such good coverage to my under eye circles and any little blemishes that you'd like to cover up.

To go with this concealer, I have another drugstore favourite and it is the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. I use this everyday on top of my concealer to prevent it from creasing and it also helps to make my make-up stay on for longer and doesn't feel heavy or caked at all and is such a bargain.

My favourite drugstore cheek product has to be the Rimmel Lasting Finish Soft Colour Blush in Santa Rose. This blush is so pretty and natural on my skin and gives my skin a slight rose tint. 


I have many, many favourite lip products from drugstores because I tend to buy drugstore lip products rather than high end because they are still of such good quality from drugstore brands. However, some of my favourite lip products are lipsticks, like the Revlon Lip Butters.

 But recently, in the fall I like to wear darker colours and in my recent blog post about Autumn/fall lipsticks, read here, I showed the Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Matte Lipsticks. These have to be some of my favourite lipsticks that I've owned and last for a long time on my lips as said in the name and they are also very matte which I tend to opt for in a lipstick rather than it having a sheen. 

My final favourite lip products have to be the Maybelline Baby Lips. I know many people have mentioned these multiple times before but they really are such a good, affordable product.

Question no.3

What is your least favourite drugstore makeup product?

There really aren't many products that I don't like but if I had to name one it would have to be the Maybelline Colossal Cat Eyes Mascara. I brought this mascara at the time when it was very popular but after a short time, it dried up and would work as well and I felt that it didn't coat my eyelashes very well.

Question no.4

What is your biggest makeup bargain?

I have to say that my biggest makeup bargain was the MUA Undress Me Highlighter which I brought for only £3 from superdrugs. This highlighter is so pigmented for such a cheap price and is such a pretty colour. I'd have to say overall, all of the MUA makeup is such a great bargain at such a low price but the quality of the makeup is very good and highly pigmented.

Question no.5

What is your favourite underdog product (something that gets overlooked)?

I'm not totally sure what this means but I love the sleek eye shadow palettes! They are so pigmented and very affordable.

Question no.6

A drugstore product that is overpriced?

I can't think of an individual product that is overpriced but I think that some types of drugstore products are overpriced like some facial moisturisers and some cleansers.


Question no.7

Show your best drugstore dupes...

Well, I only found one close dupe in my makeup collection and this drugstore lipstick is very similar but isn't as matte. The high end lipstick is the Mac Riri Woo lipstick which I featured in my Autumn/Fall Lipsticks post and the drugstore dupe if the Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick in 111 Kiss of Life.

These two lipsticks are very similar but I think the Rimmel lipstick is slightly more orange.

Question no.8

A drugstore product that isn't worth the hype?

I think that the Maybelline mascaras weren't worth the hype, I brought the Colossal Cat Eyes mascara by Maybelline at the time because they were very hyped about but when I was using it, it dried up very quickly and wasn't very useful anymore. However, the packaging was cute though haha :)
