Fashion and beauty haul...

Hey everyone,

So I've totally forgot to do this post... I was meaning to do this a few weeks ago when I originally brought everything :( but its better late than never!

So during half term which was a little while back now, I seemed to have accumulated quite a lot of clothes, jewelry etc. I thought I'd show you what I got because I love looking at other blogs and youtubers to see what they get too.

Lets delve into it...

My dress
The dress online on a model
This first item of clothing above was from bank fashion and is such a simple piece that you can basically pair with anything! It's a grainy grey colour that is so soft to touch and very comfy to wear. Its an oversized dress that is perfect to wear slouching around or just add some rings and a necklace and you're ready to go out and about. p.s. it was £23.00

❤❤❤

This next item of clothing I got was such a bargain...only £15.00!!! It was from H&M and I love it!!! It has a lovely almost quilted texture on it and although it might not like it in my pictures... its also very fitting.

❤❤❤

Then I also brought a pair of plain black skinny jeans from H&M which were only £7 or £8!

❤❤❤

Then I brought these shoese above for yet again a bargain of only £7! They are so cute on and remind me of old fashioned school shoes :) They're also really to pair with an outfit to make it dressy.

❤❤❤

Then I brought this floppy hat above for around £13-£15 which I intend to wear in the summer or when the weather gets nicer which... fingers crossed will happen.

❤❤❤

Then I just got some basic knitted tights in this burgundy/purple colour that I can wear with just about anything to keep me warm and cosy.

❤❤❤

These final items are the jewellery and some beauty bits I brought:

The first jewellery piece I got was this link bracelet from accessorize for £5... I love the coloured strap of this bracelet which is what drew my eyes to it in the shop and also, the colour of the links is almost edging onto a rose gold colour and I love rose gold anything!

❤❤❤

Then I brought some midi rings...

The one of the left is a tiny little diamante bow that gives a little girly accent to your look and to the left is something a bit more edgy. They are both gold and the ring on the left is almost like two rings stacked but joint together with a little bar in the middle. I love to stack up my rings to add a bit of glam to a casual outfit and also... river island sell midi rings for only like 2 or 3 pounds!

❤❤❤

And finally... I brought some new mascaras to try out and I am very impressed with both and currently use the collection volumizing mascara on the left in the coral packaging because it doesn't transfer throughout the day at school or in the weekends because its waterproof.

Thank you for reading... I hope you enjoyed this post, tell me what your favourite item is out of this or tell me what you've brought recently that you'd recommend!

(p.s. sorry for the angles of the photos... I haven't yet found a good way of photographing items for my blog)

Mini Update + Dream Outfit #2 ♥

Hey everyone,

Just a quick little update before I get into the main content of this post... So the other week I got really ill and couldn't face doing a lot which is why I missed on out doing some blog posts these past few weeks becuase I've been getting better and also I had half term which meant I was really busy. Anyway... the positive is that i'm feeling a lot better now and can't wait to show you what I brought during half term :D

So I did a 'Dream outfit' post ages back and totally forgot about it so I thought I'd do another one as i've really been getting into fashion and styling lately.

Skorts and Mesh

Skorts and Mesh - Link to the outfit on polyvore

Topshop top
£18.00 - topshop.com

♥ The simple striped crop top can be paired with many different skirts and jeans to give a more casual look something dressy like a short skirt. I've owned many striped tops and they are really easy to pair with other items of clothing to look casual but still as if you are making an effort.

Red jacket
£24.99 - newlook.com

♥ This jacket/blazer adds a pop of colour to the outfit and also keeps you warm.

Forever New black skirt
$54 - forevernew.com.au

♥ I'd seen these a lot during last summer and really wanted one but with only being 15 and as pale as a milk bottle I didn't get one hehe

Gianvito Rossi slip on shoes
£500 - brownsfashion.com

♥ Wow.. look at the price! I love these shoes but definately wouldn't pay that for them ... I'm sure there are many dupes out there much cheaper. I love the mesh detailing which gives a little peak of skin (cheeky hehe)

Coast red purse
£35 - coast-stores.com

♥ Envelope clutches are so stylish and cute and this one is even better because it matches the jacket and doesn't break the bank :D

Accessorize gold necklace
£20 - accessorize.com

♥ I love the look of these necklaces and I need one in my wardrobe haha :) They help to dress up an outfit quickly with not much effort!

Emilio Pucci bracelet
£265 - yoox.com

♥ Wow again... its very pricey but there are many cheaper alternatives out there and some that look much better than this one. I kept the jewelry gold and matching so it was more stylish.

MARC BY MARC JACOBS stud earrings
£29 - shopbop.com

♥ I LOVE these earrings, I am a big fan of rose gold jewllery and geometric shapes and the two combined are really pretty!

I hope you enjoyed this post.. glad to be back!  ♥

NOTD collab with Beautyandkatie ♥

Hey everyone,

So this is a really exciting post for me... its my first collab blog post!
And its with the very pretty Katie from beautyandkatie.blogspot.co.uk

We've been planning to do a collab for a long time now and here's the day which we get to share it with you lot! So we thought we'd both do a NOTD collab and share what we are both wearing on our nails...

Onto my nails...

So i've been loving painting my nails with colours that I don't often use... like greys and brighter colours... The colour which I have used is by Nails Inc and it's called 'Baker Street'.

I also used my Seche Vite Top Coat to seal the nail polish to make them shiny and last longer. I definitely recommend using the Seche Vite Top Coat because it drys your nail varnish so quickly!

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I have on my nails and enjoyed the collab... if you want to see Katie's blog post... click here!

Beauty Wishlist

Hey everyone,

So i've noticed lately that there are a lot of new and old things out there to buy that I've been wanting for a long time or would love to try out... so I thought i'd put it all together and show you and it might tickle your fancy :D

Lets get into it...

1. Benefit Lollitint -

So I've seen this quite a few times recently and didn't realise it existed until a few weeks ago but now I've found it I would definitely love to get it in the future! It is another one of Benefit's lip and cheek stains and its in this pretty girly pink colour. I already have Benefit's highbeam and benetint and i'm very pleased with the consistency of them and how they blend out easily.

2. Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush -

My mum has quite a few of these watercolour blushes and they are very pretty and so much easier to blend than regular cream blushes. I love all of the shades of these blushes but the one that caught my eye was the blush in the shade 'Charm'. It's such a natural pinky peach colour and one that I would opt to wear on an everyday basis.

3. Mac Pro Longwear Paint Pot in 'Painterly' -

I've seen Mac's paint pots around for such a long time now and I still haven't got around to getting any but if I were to get a shade, I would definitely opt for 'Painterly'. It looks like such a good neutral base that will cover up any extra redness that concealer doesn't cover up and will give any eye product something to cling to and not slide about or rub off.

4. Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer in 'Apocalyptic' -

Another thing that I'd love to treat myself to is one of the Rimmel Apocalips lip lacquers in the shade 'Apocalyptic'. Out of all of the shades this one stood out to me and its not just because its one of the brightest hehe... I like to sometimes mix up what I wear on my lips and this fuchsia pink is definitely something I would want to make work.

5. Sleek Brow Kit in 'Light' -

At the moment, I don't often do a lot with my eyebrows only really filling them in a little bit with an eye shadow but I would definitely like to purchase something like this sleek brow kit to get myself into a routine of filling them in and making them look sleek. (haha pardon the pun)

6. Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer -

I don't own many primers but whilst I was out in superdrugs a few weeks ago, I spotted this and nearly brought it and definitely regret that I put it back. I think if I started to wear a primer under my makeup it will last much longer.

7. OPI Matte Top Coat -

I've seen many different matte top coats out there that bloggers and youtubers have reviewed but in my opinion this OPI one looked the best with all of the swatches. It's also from a brand I know well and have tried out many if their products.

8. Revlon Matte Balm -

I've seen this online quite a bit and I'd love to get some and try them out... I own a few jumbo balm sticks and some matte lip lipsticks but never the two different things in one product. I can't pick a colour but I love the one in the picture I chose which is a deep plumy colour.

9. Eos lip balm -

I've had an eos lip balm before ... I think I owned the strawberry scented one and it really helped moisturise my lips and make them softer especially during the winter. Again I don't might which one I'd get and the one in the picture I think is the sweet mint one.

10. Maybelline Colour Tattoo in 'Metallic Pomegranate' -

Finally... This is another base product haha but I already have the 'rose gold' pinky shade (I think that's what it's called) I think last year dark reds and plum colours really came into fashion and I still of it and this is something I wanted to get then but just didn't get round to getting it.

I hope you enjoyed reading this :D sorry for my absence on here but I've had a lot of schoolwork to catch up on and I've been trying to get back into the routine of writing blog posts x

Deborah Lippmann Best of Both Worlds Pop Rock Set

Hey everyone,

So lately I've really been enjoying posting regularly so today I thought I'd do another post and show you what I just received in the mail.

I brought this on the lookfantastic website... here: http://www.lookfantastic.com/deborah-lippmann-best-of-both-worlds-pop-rock-set-limited-edition-2-x-8ml/10877367.html I'd recently seen this online and resist getting them!

This is what it looks like in all of it's packaging... I brought this limited edition set for £17 from lookfantastic with free delivery which I thought was really good!

This is what the back of the packaging looks like...

I absolutely love the little bag it comes with:

The little bag is covered in mulit-coloured glitter with silver detailing. The only small downside about this packaging is that some of the glitter particles do come off but there is definitely enough glitter for it to stay sparkly!

Inside of the bag are two of Deborah Lippmann's Mini nail varnishes in the shades 'She Bop' and 'Happy Birthday'.

The shade 'Happy Birthday' matches the small pouch and looks as if it contains the same glitter particles.

This is what 'Happy Birthday' looks like:

And the shade 'She Bop':

I hope you enjoyed this little post! Get the set whilst you can because it's gorgeous! Hopefully in the future I might paint my nails with the colours and show you some swatches :D

My Everyday Makeup Routine

Hey everyone,

So today I thought I'd show you my everyday makeup... so lets get into it :D

Face...

L-R Benefit Triple Emulsion Moisturiser, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in no.1 Fair
I start of by applying any moisturiser to my face then use my collection lasting perfection concealer to cover up any discoloration, under eye circles and red spots.

Rimmel Stay Matte powder in 006 Warm Beige and Real Techniques Buffing Brush

The I set that all with my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 006 - Warm beige using my real techniques buffing brush.

Real Techniques Multi Task Brush, Elf blush and bronzer duo and Rimmel Match perfection blush - 001 Light

The I took my Real Techniques Multi Task Brush and took my Elf blush and bronzer duo and contoured and then took my new Rimmel Match perfection blush in 001-Light and applied to the apples of my cheeks and on top of my cheek bones.

Then I took my £3 MUA Undress Your Skin highlighter and the Real Techniques contour brush and dusted it on the tops of my cheek bones, down the center of my nose and on my cupids bow.

Now onto eyes...

Real Techniques Domed Shadow Brush
Taking my real techniques domed shadow brush, I chose any colour from the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette.. today I used the shade 'Buzz' and applied this all over my lid and blended it out for a subtle rosey look then took the lightest shade - strange and applied this in the inner corner of my eye and under my brow bone to lighten up my eyes, give dimension and to make me look more awake.

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

Then I took my Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeliner in 005 Nude and applied to my inner waterline to make my eyes bigger and brighter.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Kajal in 005 Nude

Then I took my new Revlon Eyelash curler and curled my eyelashes and applied a generous coat of the Revlon Lash Potion Mascara to my top and bottom eyelashes.

Then taking my big W7 Neutrals Palette, I took my most used brown shaded with an angled shadow brush by Laura Geller and filled in the shape of my eyebrows to make them look a bit less sparse.

Then I used my MUA £1 Clear Mascara and made sure they will stay in place...

MUA Clear Mascara - Shade 1

And finally onto lips...

I usually like to wear any lip balm I have then a light lipgloss or lipstick. Normally I use this free baby lips lip balm I got in a promotion offer in Boots and my Revlon Lipgloss in the Shade 004 Pink Ice.
